An international brand / Finance

Background

We were approached by this payment infrastructure provider, as they wanted to spread the message about their new, important partnership in Poland. In 2023, it expanded its support for Polish platforms by integrating with one of the most popular payment providers in this market. Since 2013, the company has supported over 2,500 platforms and marketplaces from all over the world. This collaboration aimed to make the most widely used payment method more accessible across Polish e-commerce platforms. It was a significant milestone for the company and needed media attention.

Challenge

Implementing this new payment method meant that the company could provide better service to Polish clients. However, the news could have gone unnoticed due to its highly technical nature. We needed to create press material that would catch the attention of key finance and business media in Poland and subsequently interest in Polish shopping platforms, where the payment method was not previously available.

What did we do?

We created a press release that focused on what this integration means for Polish clients. We highlighted how this feature could help attract more users to e-commerce platforms, improve conversion rates, and enhance the overall payment and customer experience. To reach our target audience, we concentrated on business, specifically e-commerce, finance, and tech-nology media.

Scope of work

Our cooperation with the client included:

  • Drafting the press release to make it attractive for the media and the readers.
  • Distributing the press release to all relevant media outlets in Poland.
  • Following up with the media via phone and email to secure PR publications.
  • Monitoring the media with specialist media monitoring software.
  • Producing a brief coverage report with stats.

Results

Within two months, we achieved the media publication KPIs set with the cli-ent. 22 PR publications in online tech, finance, and business media were secured, with 12 of them appearing on domains with a DR (Domain Rating) of 40+. Our news update was covered by outlets such as superbiz.se.pl, pl.investing.com, dlahandlu.pl, and inwestycje.pl.
