Inbalance grid / Technology

Background

Inbalance grid is a leading smart EV charging software developer, a charging equipment designer, and a cloud-based platform for managing charging points. It is the largest network operator in the Baltic countries and Lithuania; a pioneer in smart EV charging infrastructure, employing an innovative installation method. In 2024, the company entered the Polish market. It was an important step in its expansion in this part of Europe, which needed strong media coverage.

Challenge

The primary challenge of the PR campaign was highlighting the significance of the Inbalance grid’s entry into Poland (a country that ranks 13th in the EU in electric vehicle sales). Our press releases had to include market data that compared Poland to the rest of Europe. We decided to present the current gaps in Poland’s EV charging infrastructure, particularly in smaller towns. We also emphasized how the country must align with evolving European regulations on electromobility. Our main goal was to ensure the messaging effectively resonated with the media and the public.

What did we do?

During the campaign from May to July 2024, we implemented a tailored media relations strategy to establish the brand as a new key player in the Polish market. To achieve this, we created two press releases. The first announced the company’s plans to enter the Polish market and establish a nationwide charging network by the end of 2024, positioning it as a driving force behind the development of Poland’s EV infrastructure. The second one focused on a strategic partnership with Stokrotka (a major retail chain in Poland), which aimed to install EV charging stations at their locations across the country. Both releases were distributed to a wide range of media outlets: general interest media, local media, technology, electromobility, business, retail, ecological, lifestyle, and many other categories.

Scope of work

  • Preparing two press releases and approving them with the client, together with the graphics.
  • Sending out the press releases to relevant media outlets in Poland.
  • Following the media up and generating the biggest possible number of PR publications.
  • Monitoring the media.
  • Preparing and providing monthly coverage reports.

Results

Our three-month campaign achieved 78.7 million media reach with over 130 publications across diverse media categories. These included top-tier outlets such as Forsal, Antyweb.pl, and Eska.pl; regional media like Dziennikbaltycki.pl and Gazetakrakowska.pl; and industry-specific platforms including Motopedia.pl, Elektromobilni.pl, and Wiadomoscihandlowe.pl. Several articles included active links, driving traffic to Inbalance grid’s website. This coverage successfully positioned our client as a new, significant player in Poland’s EV market, earning recognition for its electromobility solutions.
