Background

Panksy is Europe’s first AI-powered online florist, mixing technology, science, and psychology. To order a personalized bouquet, customers answer a series of questions on the platform. Based on the inspiration generated from their responses, the final design and vibe of the flowers are created. This information is then sent to local florists, who craft the bouquets and arrange delivery.

Challenge

Our objective was to introduce this entirely new concept to customers in Poland. A platform like this had never existed in the Polish market before, and nowhere in the world. While AI is definitely a hot topic, we have to explain clearly how the platform works.

What did we do?

We produced a press release on the brand launching in Poland, as we know such media announcements are appealing to the media in Poland, and they eagerly publish them. From the client’s photo library, we selected a number of images that were not only good quality and beautiful but also unconventional and eye-catching. We targeted several relevant media categories in Poland – lifestyle, marketing, business, women’s media, technology, IT, HR, start-ups, and more. We also used the Polish Press Agency (PAP) media distribution service in order to spread the news to key media outlets in Poland that source news updates from this agency. We focused on generating the highest number of PR publications with active links across top media outlets.

Scope of work

  • Preparation of two press releases based on source materials provided by the client.
  • Distributing the press release to relevant media outlets in Poland over two months period.
  • Following up the media via phone and email to secure PR publications, ideally with active links.
  • Monitoring the media with a specialist media monitoring software.
  • Preparing monthly reports including results, market insights, and plans for future activities.

Results

Over two months of our collaboration, we generated 74 media publications, with over half on domains with a DR of 40+. Our press releases with active links were featured on top-tier websites such as MamStartup, Wiadomoscihandlowe, NowyMarketing, and Eska. We managed to build interest from both tech and business enthusiasts, as well as women’s and lifestyle media. The brand has been successfully introduced to the Polish market.
